Stas Venglevski

An acclaimed virtuoso and a native of the Republic of Moldova (part of the former Soviet Union), Stas now resides in Milwaukee, WI. In the short time he has lived in America he has become a highly respected American accordionist. Stas has not only a warm positive personality but is both a popular performer and clinician.

Among his talents, Stas is a gifted composer. He composes and publishes his own compositions! And it is no exaggeration to say Stas is now an American accordion cheerleader, promoting musical excellence on the bayan/accordion to varied American audiences.

Stas has toured extensively as a soloist, including performances with Doc Severinsen, Steve Allen and with Garrison Keillor on the Prairie Home Companion radio show. Additionally, he has performed numerous times with various symphony orchestras.

Stas is the past President of the prestigious Accordionists and Teachers Guild, International (ATG) and has had his hands full the past few years. We welcome our friend and accordionist extraordinaire back to the stage Tuesday night!
