Liz Finch

Elizabeth (Liz) Finch currently serves as 1st Vice President of the ATG (Accordionists and Teachers Guild, International) and holds Baccalaureate and Master’s music degrees from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and the University of Wyoming. She studied accordion with Joan Sommers and has traveled extensively with the UMKC Accordion Orchestra to many different countries.

For many years she has been a professional music copyist and orchestrator in Los Angeles, where she works with many of the best-known musicians in the TV, film, and recording industries. Recent work includes orchestrating for Hans Zimmer on a new animated feature, MegaMind.
