What a pleasure to see so many of you and share the fun, excitement and great music at this year’s 12th annual Las Vegas International Accordion Convention! I want to personally thank those who attended for your support and commitment to the celebration of the accordion by your early registration for the 13th Annual Las Vegas International Accordion Convention in 2012. After listening to this year’s convention participant’s feedback I have arrived at a decision that hopefully will be of great news – for you and all our accordion friends. So spread the news!
First: The Gold Coast made us a fantastic offer with room rates starting at only $29 a night – with the seasoned advice of Professor Sommers, the Gold Coast continues to be the absolute best setting for the event in that everything takes place in a well-organized space. We have decided to stay close to the Famous Las Vegas Strip, convenient to the airport and local hot spots and we will continue our great relationship and be with our good friends at the GOLD COAST for our 2012 convention!!!
Second: The date – again listening to the great comments, we have moved to the fall at a time when the weather should not be too HOT nor too COLD! The dates will be Monday, September 24, 2012 thru Thursday September 27, 2012.
Please take note of these two important changes and mark your calendar – we will be at the same location the GOLD COAST and we will meet September. For those who preregistered in Las Vegas look for a letter to arrive by post with an update to your registration. And because of these changes for those who have not registered yet we are offering AT EVENT preregistration pricing and preferred seating if you register before December 1, 2011. So register today and save and get the extra benefits of preferred seating!
