Most everyone knows Mary from the K-Trio. However, this year she joins us as a solo artist and instructor. In her youth Mary amassed over 185 trophies and awards, including two U.S. Championship Titles, a 3rd place in the 1973 Confederation Internationale des Accordeonistes (CIA) Coupe Mondiale, and a 2nd place in that year's Coupe Mondiale Pop Category.
Mary started teaching at an early age and went on to study Early Childhood Education through Kindermusik International at Princeton University and Boston University at Lowell. She is currently a music teacher in the North Haven Department of Education Early Childhood Development Program, and has developed a successful Kindermusik program at Tokarski Music Center.
As a soloist, guest artist to numerous symphony orchestras, and as a member of the K-Trio (together with her sister Julie and brother Walter), Mary has performed throughout the USA and internationally. We are honored to have this veteran educator and performer with us again this year. We know you will enjoy her wonderful style and educational offerings. Make sure you check out Mary’s workshops and Master Classes as she is an amazing instructor – and her performances are always amazing!
