Frank joins us in Las Vegas on the road from concerts in Italy and Europe. Last year Frank performed at the Las Vegas International Accordion Convention and was truly a consummate master who brought the audience to their feet as the worlds finest indeed! The road for Frank began in Illinois, just south Chicago, where he studied classical accordion for 9 years. Frank’s musical education also included clarinet, piano, harmony & theory.
From Illinois, Frank’s career began with a trio he started at age 18. They soon were traveling and playing in many top hotels across America, including engagements in Las Vegas. Eventually he heard a voice saying, “Go West young man,” so he made Los Angeles his home where he worked as a session studio musician. During his career, Frank worked with a long list of famous movie composers including Henry Mancini, John Williams, Michele Le Grand, Elmer Bernstein, and Quincy Jones, to name a few. Frank’s first love is Jazz. He has played with and worked alongside many of the world’s best musicians.
We are indeed honored to have Frank join us again for 2011 and those who heard Frank last year will remember his performance was one of a lifetime! As an arranger, publisher, recording artist and performer, Frank is known the world over. Take the time to check out Frank’s classes and music arrangements plus his brand new CD, “Frank Marocco Turns Up The Flame.” It will be well worth your time. Thanks Frank for joining us again and sharing your marvelous talent. Frank will be performing Tuesday evening, and teaching several workshops during the three days, so make a point to hear and take a class from the Master!
